Dr Nick Brown is a trained interventional radiologist with a pre-existing, and ongoing, passion in snakebite and antivenom. Nick is a founding director of the Global Snakebite Initiative, which aims to improve the plight of snakebite victims around the world, and successfully campaigned to restore recognition of Snakebite Envenoming as a WHO Neglected Tropical Disease. He holds an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and a MPH in Epidemiology from Harvard University, which complement his medical work, research and advocacy in snakebite and health economics. Dr Brown is a consultant Medical Director for MicroPharm and serves on the WHO Snake Antivenom Technical and Scientific Advisory Group.
