Nepal Toxinology Association / Save The Snakes

Mr. Kamal Devkota is a Zoologist (M.Sc. 2013) from Central Department of Zoology, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. Mr. Devkota is leading research works, capacity building training and workshops related to snakes, snakebites and snake conservation in different districts of Nepal. He has presented his scientific papers in various conferences which are also published in different journals. Mr. Devkota’s projects are supported by The Rufford Foundation, Save The Snakes (STS) and King Cobra Conservancy (KCC) to work on Snakes, Snakebite Mitigation and Snake Conservation in Nepal. Mr. Devkota is leading various programs like “Save The Lives’’, “Save Snakes Save Nature”, “I Speak for Snake Conservation, and You?” and “Save The King” in different parts of Nepal. He is also working as an Actor/Director in Nepalese theatre and films, and involves making people aware through various Radio Drama, Street Drama and Forum Theatre. These days, he is working to make people aware through educational videos related to snakes and snakebites.
