Teresa Escalante

PhD in Science

My research projects focused on understanding the local and systemic pathology induced by viperid snake venoms. In this area, I have deepened in the study of the mechanism of microvascular damage induced by snake venom metalloproteinases on animal and in vitro models by immunochemical, histological, and proteomic approaches.
